Birth time rectification for Clifford L. Wolfe? [Lưu Trữ]

I found an interesting column in a newspaper that features weekly "Life Story" of local people, written by their loved ones. I thought the real life events, together with the birth & passing away can be very useful to learn (Vietnamese) astrology, thus would like to cut and paste up here, for your convenience.

CLIFFORD L. WOLFE was born in Montreal on Oct. 18, 1934 and died on Nov. 2, 2009 of sinus cancer.
<o:p></o:p>
Cliff loved unconditionally and was loyal to a fault. He never held a grudge and always tried to help if he could. He was a jack-of-all-trades and an inventor. One of his inventions would change both his daughter’s life, after a tragic accident, and take his own life in a new direction.
<o:p></o:p>
I was married to Cliff for 55 years and we raised seven daughters. He also has 10 granddaughters, three grandsons, four step-grandsons, one step-granddaughter, two great-granddaughters and one greatgrandson. He was the son of Emmet and Margaret Wolfe. He had two brothers and three sisters.
<o:p></o:p>
Cliff started working in road construction when he was very young. It was his father’s company, in Timmins. He was very good at taking things apart and putting them back together. He used to say, “If somebody made it, I can fix it,” and he usually did. Those skills would help shape his life.
<o:p></o:p>
We met and were married in 1955 in Cornwall where he was building a road during the St. Lawrence Seaway construction.
<o:p></o:p>
Life was never dull around Cliff. He was an active scuba diver, a pilot and an inventor. He dragged me around with him, sometimes kicking and screaming.
<o:p></o:p>
Life was not easy, as far as money goes, but that never seemed the most important thing. Life was good.
<o:p></o:p>
We moved to Timmins and had seven daughters. The last two were twins. Well, he said, when they start coming in twos, it is time to quit. I agreed.
<o:p></o:p>
He and his brother went to Jamaica in the ’70s and worked there for the British construction company, Sir Robert McAlpine. He sent for the family and all of us followed him to Jamaica for a few years. We had a great time. When we returned, we settled in Smiths Falls.
<o:p></o:p>
Later, he worked for Parks Canada for a few years, but hated writing reports that didn’t get to the point. His boss called his reports Wolfeese and sent him on a report-writing course. He quit the government and started his own road construction consulting company. He worked at that for a number of years.
<o:p></o:p>
Then came a blip in our lives. We had got the kids through high school and most of them through university. The last three had just graduated from high school when Elaine Anne, one of the twins, then 18, dove into a friend’s swimming pool and became a quadriplegic.
<o:p></o:p>
It was a hard few years, but she wanted a vehicle to drive, but not a van, which was about the only thing available 25 years ago. Cliff invented a hydraulic wheelchair lift that put her in the driver’s seat of an SUV. When a young man, who broke his neck at the same time, told Cliff he had to do the same for him, it started a business modifying trucks. Cliff named the invention the Elaine Anne Lift System. The lift was later modified for Elaine Anne so that she could put her baby in a car seat.

Cliff and I ran the business until he was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. He went downhill fast, but another daughter and his crew finished the last truck in 2009.

We moved to Ottawa the last year for treatment and help from two more daughters who live in Ottawa. <o:p></o:p>
